Springbok Casino verification documents, item by item
For Springbok Casino verification you need a colour copy of a government-issued photo ID, front and back, showing your full name, and a proof of address no older than 90 days. A South African driver's licence is not accepted. If you have deposited with crypto, add a photo of yourself holding the ID; card or eWallet proof is needed only if Springbok asks.
The checklist
Springbok's withdrawal authorisation page lists everything in a single sentence. In summary:
Before the first withdrawal: a colour copy of the front and back of government-issued photo ID with full name (South African driver's licences not accepted), proof of address no older than 90 days, and a photo holding the ID if crypto was used; card or eWallet proof may be requested. Uploaded via the cashier's Account Verification link. Verified · 9 October 2026.
Split into separate items, with who needs each one:
Photo ID, front Required
Government-issued, in colour, with your full name readable.
Photo ID, back Required
The reverse of the same document, also in colour.
Proof of address Required
Dated within the last 90 days and showing the address on your account.
Photo of you holding the ID Crypto only
Only for accounts that have used crypto.
Card or eWallet proof If asked
Only when Springbok asks for it.
Source-of-funds documents If asked
Springbok's terms allow the request; there is nothing to send unless it comes.
Everything goes through the Account Verification link in the cashier. The upload steps, the deadline and what happens afterwards are on the account verification page.
Springbok casino ID verification: which ID works
The ID rule has four parts: issued by a government, carrying your photo, showing your full name, and copied in colour on both sides. Only one document is named as unacceptable, and it is a common one: a South African driver's licence, even though it carries a photo.
Springbok's page does not name the documents it does accept. The table separates what is stated from what you should confirm first.
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| Does it need a photo? | Yes: government-issued photo ID. Verified · 9 October 2026 |
| Colour or black and white? | Colour. |
| One side or two? | Front and back. |
| South African driver's licence? | Not accepted. |
| Passport, smart ID card or green ID book? | Not named on the page when it was checked. Ask support before you upload. |
| Name on the ID | Your full name has to appear on it. |
Match your account to your ID
Use the same full name on your Springbok account as on the ID you will upload, so a reviewer has nothing to query. If you have not signed up yet, read how to register first.
Springbok casino proof of address
The proof of address rule is short: the document must be no older than 90 days. Springbok's page does not list which documents count, so it neither names nor rules out any particular bill or statement.
- Check the date first. Find the issue or statement date and count back from today. If it is close to the 90 days limit, use a newer document so it is still inside the window when Springbok reviews it.
- Show the whole page. Crop nothing, so the address, the date and the name it is addressed to are all in view.
- Use the address on your account. If you have moved since registering, ask support how to update the account before you upload.
- Not sure a document counts? Ask in live chat first. A quick question costs less time than a rejected upload.
Springbok casino selfie verification for crypto deposits
If your account has been funded with crypto, Springbok's page asks for one more image: a photo of you holding your ID. Bitcoin is the crypto option on Springbok's banking page, and Springbok's articles describe further coins in the cashier. Springbok says · 9 October 2026 On a plain reading of the page, any crypto deposit brings the rule into play, not only the first one.
The page does not say why it wants the photo, but an image like this links the face on the ID to the person using the account, so both need to be clear:
- Hold the ID beside your face, not in front of it.
- Keep the ID's photo and name readable; tilt it away from lights to avoid glare.
- No filters, stickers or edits, and nothing such as sunglasses or a cap hiding your face.
- Use the same ID you upload on its own, so the two images match.
If you have only ever paid by card or EFT, this item does not apply to you.
Card, eWallet and source-of-funds requests
Two kinds of document are needed only on request. The withdrawal authorisation page says Springbok may ask for proof of a card or eWallet you used. Springbok's terms go further: withdrawals depend on proof of your deposit methods, Springbok may ask for source-of-funds documents, and payouts go only to accounts you own.
There is no need to prepare these in advance. If a request arrives:
- Ask support exactly what the image has to show before you send it.
- Cover all but the last four digits of a card number unless support tells you otherwise, and never send a card's three-digit security code or any PIN.
- Upload through the cashier, the same way as your other documents.
The same terms decide where your money can go later: payouts are made only to accounts in your own name, which is worth knowing before you read how to withdraw from Springbok.
Keeping your documents private
An ID and a proof of address together are exactly what someone needs to open accounts in your name, so treat them with care before, during and after the upload.
- One route only. Springbok's page names the cashier's Account Verification link. A message that asks you to send documents somewhere else, or to reply with them by email, deserves suspicion even if it carries the Springbok logo.
- Type the address yourself. Open springbokcasino.co.za from a bookmark or the address bar before you log in to upload, never from a link in a message.
- Your password stays yours. Verification never needs it, and Springbok's support team does not need it to help you.
- Clean up afterwards. Keep the files somewhere private on your device while you wait, and delete spare copies once your account is approved.
Login Trail is an independent guide. It never asks for documents and cannot see or approve a Springbok account.
Photo and scan tips that save a second upload
- Photograph each document flat on a plain, darker surface, in daylight, with all four corners in the frame.
- Shoot in colour. The ID rule asks for a colour copy, and colour images are easier to read for every other document too.
- Make sure every word is sharp. Zoom in before you upload; if you cannot read the small print, a reviewer cannot either.
- Do not crop, edit, cover or write on anything unless Springbok tells you to.
- Take one photo per side or page, so each upload shows a single, complete document.
File types and size limits are not on Springbok's public pages. If the upload refuses a file, try a standard photo straight from your phone camera before you contact support.
Questions readers ask
Can I use my driver's licence to verify my Springbok account?
Not a South African one: Springbok's withdrawal authorisation page says South African driver's licences are not accepted. Use another government-issued photo ID that shows your full name, copied in colour on both sides.
What counts as proof of address at Springbok Casino?
Springbok's page sets an age limit, no older than 90 days, rather than a list of accepted documents. Choose a recent document that shows your name, your address and its date, and if you are unsure whether it counts, ask support before you upload.
Why does Springbok want a selfie with my ID?
Only accounts that have used crypto are asked for it. Springbok does not explain the rule, but the photo links the ID to the person holding it, so keep your face and the ID's details clear.
Which documents do I need if I only deposited by card?
The core documents: both sides of your photo ID and a recent proof of address. The ID selfie applies to crypto only. Springbok may also ask for proof of the card itself; if it does, ask support what the image must show, and never send the security code.
Can I email my documents to Springbok instead?
The withdrawal authorisation page names one route: the Account Verification link in the cashier. Use it unless Springbok's support team asks for something different, and be wary of any message that asks you to send ID somewhere else.
